Honor a loved one, celebrate a life event, or leave a lasting legacy with a ReLeaf Petaluma Tribute Tree—a meaningful, visible tribute nestled in the beauty of Petaluma.

There are three options to choose from:

Fund-A-Tree

Celebrate someone you love—or honor a memory—with a meaningful gift that grows.

A $100 donation in honor of someone special covers the cost of a nice big tree plus delivery, tax, stakes, ties and mulch. Your donation could also cover supplies and refreshments for 20 volunteers to help plant 50 trees.

Your gift supports our mission to restore the Petaluma watershed, shelter wildlife, and build a greener future—one tree at a time.

  • A Dedicated Tree You choose from one of 16 participating parks and we’ll select the most beautiful, healthy specimen tree in that location.

    • The exact GPS coordinates of your dedicated tree

With a Tribute Tree Dedication, ReLeaf Petaluma will plant a new native tree—or an entire grove—in honor of your loved one, marking a profound and visible gesture of remembrance, celebration, or gratitude.

These special dedications support our mission to restore Petaluma’s natural spaces, combat climate change, and grow a greener, healthier community for generations to come.

Your Tribute Tree Options:

Individual Tree Newly Planted

Small Grove of 3 or more Newly Planted Trees

Large Grove of 5 or more Newly Planted Trees

🌿 Your Tribute Includes:

  • A New Tree or Grove Planted in Your Honoree’s Name
    Your tree will be planted during our optimal planting season (Fall or Winter) in a high-visibility public location, such as:

    Petaluma City Hall • The Fairgrounds • Prince Park • Steamer Landing Park • Petaluma Sports Center • Site selection based on availability and project needs.

  • We will contact you to discuss location siting, planting date, and site specific signage.

  • Custom Dedication
    Your dedication will be placed on tasteful educational signage honoring the tree or grove you have funded.

  • Permanent Dedication
    The tree itself will be permanently dedicated to your honoree as a living symbol of their legacy.

  • Keepsake Mailing
    You’ll receive a mailed packet with:
